41 Maintenance Functions
1. Oil Reset (53 brands): Reset the oil life system and turn off the oil light after replacing the oil or oil filter to start a new cycle.
2. SAS Reset (44 brands ): Calibrate the steering angle after replacing the steering angle position sensor and the mechanical parts of the steering system, etc. Stores the current steering wheel position as the straight-ahead position in the steering angle sensor and clears fault memory.
3. EPB Reset (41 brands ): Maintain the electronic braking system safely and effectively by deactivating and activating the brake control system, setting brakes after disc or pad replacement, etc.
4. BMS Reset (31 brands ): Re-match the control module and motoring sensor for battery detecting more accurately, clear original low battery information, and prevent the related control module from detecting false information.
5. DPF Regeneration (39 brands): Perform the regeneration procedure as know as the DPF cleaning operation, to clear particulate matter from the DPF filter through continuous combustion oxidation mode to stabilize the filter performance.
6. ABS Bleeding (34 brands ): Bleed the air of a brake system to restore ABS brake sensitivity.
7. IMMOBILIZER: If the keys are lost or the anti-theft module is replaced, this feature can help you to match the new key, delete a lost or failed key, and match a replacement anti-theft module.
8. Sunroof Reset: This function is used to initialize the sunroof control module data, set the sunroof lock switch, close the sunroof in case of rain, check memory function for sliding/tilting sunroofs, gauge outside temperature threshold, etc.
9. Suspension Reset (11 brands ): Adjust the vehicle height sensor for level calibration when replacing the vehicle height sensor or control module in the air suspension system.
10. Gearbox Reset: This function is used for gearbox matching. When a gearbox has been dismantled or repaired (or after the battery is disconnected on some models), this can lead to delayed shifts or other problems. When this function is performed, the gearbox automatically adjusts to driving conditions, for a more comfortable and optimal shift quality.
11. AFS Headlamp Reset
12. Injector Coding: Code the injector after replacing or adjusting to correct the fuel injection volume of each cylinder more accurately.
13. Gear Learning: This function is used for the crankshaft position sensor to learn any crankshaft teeth machining errors and store it in the computer for engine misfire diagnosis. For vehicles fitted with Delphi engines that have not learned the crankshaft teeth, the fault code light will turn on when the engine is started. The fault code “P1336- crankshaft teeth not learned” will appear, and the fault light will turn off when the function is successfully completed.
14. TPMS Reset: Quickly look up the tire sensor IDs from the vehicle’s Electronic Control Unit, and perform TPMS replacement and sensor test.
15. Throttle Adaptation (37 brands ): Cycle the motorized throttle body through various states (idle, part throttle, WOT) to relearn their positions.
16. A/F Reset (5 brands ): This function can set or learn Air/Fuel ratio parameters. The A/F reset function is used to set vehicle air-fuel ratio parameters and control the air-fuel ratio of the mixture around the theoretical value. Air-fuel ratio: The ratio of air mass to fuel mass in the combustible mixture. The theoretical air-fuel ratio is 14.7:1.
17. ADBLUE Reset (8 brands): After the diesel exhaust treatment fluid (car urea) is replaced or filled up, a urea reset operation is required. The ADBlue reset function is used to clear the urea fault indicator by performing a urea reset operation after filling urea.
18. Coolant Bleed (5 brands ): This function can activate the electronic water pump before venting the cooling system. After an engine cooling system failure or antifreeze change, you need to activate the electronic water pump for exhaust. Electronic water pump systems are common in BMW models.
19. EGR Reset (7 brands ): This function can learn the EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve after it is cleaned or replaced. Performing the EGR reset function after cleaning or replacing the EGR valve clears the trouble code and turns off the fault indicator.
20. Language Change (7 brands ): This function can change the system language of the vehicle central control panel.
21. NOx Sensor Reset (8 brands ): A Nitrogen Oxygen (NOx) Sensor is a sensor used to detect the NOx content in the engine exhaust gas. This function can reset the catalytic converter learned value stored in the engine E/CU. It needs to be performed when the NOx fault is re-initialized and the NOx catalytic converter is replaced.
22. Odometer Calibration (9 brands ): This function can copy and write the value of kilometers in the chip of the odometer so that the odometer shows the actual mileage. It needs to be performed when the mileage is incorrect due to a damaged vehicle speed sensor or odometer failure.
23. Seats Calibration (18 brands ): This function can match the seats that are replaced and repaired with memory function.
24. STOP/START (5 brands ): This function can open or close the automatic start-stop function by setting the hidden function in E/CU (provided that the vehicle has a corresponding hidden function supported by hardware). Generally, the physical switch on the vehicle that turns the automatic start-stop on or off also serves the purpose of turning the automatic start-stop off and on. However, for most vehicles, after using the physical button to turn off the start-stop feature, and then turning off the ignition and restarting the vehicle, the vehicle automatically returns to its default state. This function permanently turns off automatic start-stop and requires diagnostic software to change the state.
25. Reset AIRBAG: This function resets the airbag data to clear the airbag collision fault indicator, so that the airbag computer in the vehicle can run normally. It needs to be performed when the airbag deploys, the corresponding fault code of the collision data appears, the airbag indicator lights up, and the fault code cannot be cleared.
26. Transport mode (13 brands ):This function can deactivate the transport mode so that the vehicle can function normally. It needs to be performed when the following functions are disabled in order to reduce the power consumption: limiting the vehicle speed, not waking up the door opening network, disabling the remote control key and so on.
27. TYPE Reset (5 brands ) : This function can set the size parameters of the modified or replaced tire. After tire modification or replacement, the vehicle wheel and tire sizes change, and the corresponding speed and mileage calculations also change, which requires diagnostic device to adjust the corresponding parameters of the vehicle tire information.
28. Windows Calibration (15 brands ): This feature can perform door window matching to recover E/CU initial memory and recover the automatic ascending and descending function of power window.
29. Clutch matching: This function can change the clutch pedal position or switch learning. After E/CU replacement, gearbox replacement/removal, or clutch replacement, this function learns the contacts and positions where the clutch starts to transmit engine torque. Suitable for adaptive clutches. Confirm the behavior of the clutch corresponding to the position where the accelerator is lightly depressed when the vehicle is started. If smooth, the contact point is correct. If the engine revs too high when the clutch starts to deliver engine torque, or if there is a hard jerk, the contact point is incorrect. This condition requires operation of the clutch matching function.

39. A/C System Relearn: If the E/CU or actuator of the vehicle air conditioner is replaced, or the memory of the E/CU is lost, air conditioner initialization learning is needed.

What Situation VXDAS Provides Return Policy?- Mis-Ordered Products: If you ordered wrong item by yourself, after communication with VXDAS sales you need to exchange a right item, you can return back and exchange the tool. But you need to pay both shipping cost to us and freight to you again.
- Quality Issues: Our products do not work well once you receive it or it encounters crash in delivery causing customers fail to use it, in this situation, our return policy will be open for you.
- Non Quality Issues: In some particular situation, our return policy can be open for you after our customer service learning your particular problem, and in this condition we will charge you 10% restock fee, please kindly understand.
What Situation VXDAS DO NOT Provides Return Policy?
- Mis-Ordered Products: If you ordered wrong item by yourself, or you found it is not what you want to order (not quality problem), our return policy is not applied for you, please aware of this.

①Return Shipping Method
VXDAS will recommend to use Registered Mail or EMS to return the parcel, and please only send the items back to the shipping address our Customer Service provides. Please DO NOT use DHL/UPS/FEDEX/TNT or other courier for shipment without permission, if we cannot get the returned parcel with these methods, we will not responsible for that.
②Return Cost
If you were ordered wrong items and want to return back, you will bear the return cost.
If it's quality problem and never use before, please contact VXDAS sales to confirm the cost.
If only return for repair or exchange, customer will afford the shipping cost to VXDAS according to company rule.

- Cancel the order before shipping: If you need cancel the order, please contact VXDAS Customer Service within 12 working hours to cancel. If over 48 hours, the parcel may send out already, then we have to refund after we get back the items.
- Stock Issues: If product is out of stock, we will send email to check if you want to exchange or get refund.
- When the product is lost in transit to you by shipping company, we will refund fully or resend you a new good item.

Repair Policy
In Warranty Time
Most diagnostic tools and software of VXDAS enjoy a 1-year warranty, free repair and 1-year free upgrade during the warranty period.
For special products, please refer to the product description or consult customer service before purchase.
If you have a problem with the product of VXDAS during the warranty period, first provide the order number, problem pictures and operation videos, and contact our customer service technicians to confirm the problem. If the problem cannot be solved remotely, the customer service will guide you on how to send the product back for repair. You may need to bear the shipping cost to us.
After sending the product back, provide us with the tracking number. We will inform you immediately after receiving the product and arrange for repair. When the repair is completed, the product will be tested and sent to you, and the tracking number for re-shipment will be provided. VXDAS will bear the shipping cost.
Out Of Warranty
Over 1 Year warranty: product purchased over 1 year
Man-made damage: including product damage caused by improper use
this situation is out of warranty, there will be repair fee accordingly. You may also need to pay for the shipping cost when repair process finished. To avoid the problem of excessive maintenance costs, be sure to consult with the staff on specific issues.
Before sending back to repair, please contact our sales to check & confirmed the item problem as well, if the product able to fixed, we will processing repair once received.

During warranty time, customer can enjoy free technical support and repair.
Before shipping out, all goods will be test by vxdas.com. Our test engineer will check for quality, including check the basic function of the hardware and software, the appearance, the packing, the necessary accessories and power adapter plug standard.
7 Days Return
If the product has quality problem, VXDAS guarantees to replace a faulty product or full refund after receiving the products in 7 days.
Lost Products
If products get lost in delivery, or you haven't received your item for a long time, please contact our customer service timely. We will deal with this ASAP. Please do not deal with it all by yourself, we will help to check and provide a solution. Usually we will provide tracking number and tracking link timely. If products get lost on the way and we'll get messages from couriers, then VXDAS will contact you for further solution like resend the parcel or refund.
