OBDSTAR DC706 ECU tool is designed for vehicle ECU programming, DC706 OBDStar support clone ECU by OBD or BENCH modes. not only application for ECU, but also TCM and body/other system. How to use OBDStar DC706 full? Register it firstly:
Users have to register OBDSTAR DC706 before downloading or updating software.
Attention:
1. Keep charging and connect to the network before registering & upgrading.
2. Each single OBDSTAR device needs a different email to register.
3. If a username was taken, please use a different one for registration.
Here are steps for you to register OBDStar DC706 ECU programmer:
Step 1: Turn on OBDSTAR device
Step 2: Click DP
Step 3: Click Personal center
Step 4: Click Register
Step 5: Fill in personal information
Fill in the information in each field (Items with * must be filled).
Registration is completed.
Step 6: After successful registration, log in to your account.
Step 7: Click upgrade
Download or update software.
Trouble Shooting: Why the OBDSTAR DC706 Full Only have ECM Car Menu?
Solution:
First you need to register DC706 as described above.
Then go to Download, download BCM, ECM motorcycle and TCM software.
Make sure these software are downloaded completely.
OBDSTAR DC706 Test Review:
OBDSTAR DC706 Read VW Jetta MED17.5.6 CS and PIN for AKL, test ok!
Use OBDSTAR DC706 to read eeprom and flash on a 2011 VW jetta ME17.5.6 then used the immc decoder function and got the CS and pin code from the ecu. Much easier to do all keys lost this way than pulling the cluster.
DC706 read eeprom and flash, then hit immo data calculation. then it gives you CS, PIN and MAC.
Immo data decryption gives you the pin and CS.
The DC706 has the decoder function on it It also reads immo data, so you can upload that in your key programmer and make a dealer key.
This is a hell of a lot easier than pulling the cluster.
The key works with 00 7th byte CS, then manually programmed remote. All you have to do is put the CS and PIN and it is programmed.
The key worked perfectly.
DC706 only gives CS 6 Bytes. If 00 7th CS byte didn't work, pull out dashboard to get full immo data (30 mins).

Procedure:
In DC706 select ECM Flasher->ECM->latest ECM software version-> Fiat->Fiat Magneti Marelli IAQ 10GF CAN MPC5643+95640 (Bench+ P003)
And then DC706 will show you instructions and wiring diagram.
Follow the wiring diagram to connect ECU with DC706 and P003 adapter.
Press "ECU Info." to Read and confirm ECU information.
Make sure P003 adapter is connected. This function requires network connection.
Connect and identify ECU information.
Read and save eeprom 95640.
Read and save Pflash MPC5642.
Connect new replacement ECU 10GF IAW with DC706 and P003 adapter
Write EEPROM
Write successfully.
Write Flash.
Write flash data successfully.
Before quite operation, press "Disconnect" button.
