What is G-M Tech 2 scanner?

An industry change in protocol from OBD II to Controller Area Network (CAN) has begun.

In order to perform diagnostics on a vehicle that uses the CAN interface; you will need the Tech 2 Flash and a CAN diagnostic interface module. The module connects the Tech 2 Flash diagnostic link cable and the OBD adapter.

A16: Want to use our tech2 to diagnose truck, you need to buy an additional truck adapter, because our tech is compatible with truck, but only packed with the car adapter.

Q17: I bought one TECH II and the TIS2000 software can't be installed and no identification, what's the problem?

A17: If the TIS2000 you are trying to install is contained in the TECH2 software, then it is useless to install TIS2000 software. To program electronic control unit, I advice you buy an extra TIS2000 to work with tech2.

Q18: After receiving TECH2, I got some errors.

A18: If it is Blue screen, just replace the Blue Screen Chip. If it is not the problem of Blue screen, please send us the self-test report to check where the problem is;

have no idea on how to operate self test? Refer the self-test manual at TECH2 "technical support / service".

Q19:For GM TECH2 one button doesn't work how to fix?

A19: If you have new version tech2, there are two ways to solve:

1) we send you a new button to replace;

2) please send back to repair.

If you have old version tech2 installed with the newest software, the button maybe won't work.

Q20: When I use TECH2 for the second times, the tool starts to smoke, and my car voltage become 14V from 12V, what's the matter?

A20: Please follow the correct operation steps: before diagnosing, turn on the ignition and then connect the TECH2 with the car, when the car starts you'd better test the voltage, because during this process a part of cars'voltage will reach up to 24V or more, especially the car which has a poor contact of electrical ground.

Mis-Ordered Products: If you ordered wrong item by yourself, after communication with VXDAS sales you need to exchange a right item, you can return back and exchange the tool. But you need to pay both shipping cost to us and freight to you again.
Quality Issues: Our products do not work well once you receive it or it encounters crash in delivery causing customers fail to use it, in this situation, our return policy will be open for you.
Non Quality Issues: In some particular situation, our return policy can be open for you after our customer service learning your particular problem, and in this condition we will charge you 10% restock fee, please kindly understand.

Most diagnostic tools and software of VXDAS enjoy a 1-year warranty, free repair and 1-year free upgrade during the warranty period.

For special products, please refer to the product description or consult customer service before purchase.

If you have a problem with the product of VXDAS during the warranty period, first provide the order number, problem pictures and operation videos, and contact our customer service technicians to confirm the problem. If the problem cannot be solved remotely, the customer service will guide you on how to send the product back for repair. You may need to bear the shipping cost to us.

After sending the product back, provide us with the tracking number. We will inform you immediately after receiving the product and arrange for repair. When the repair is completed, the product will be tested and sent to you, and the tracking number for re-shipment will be provided. VXDAS will bear the shipping cost.

Out Of Warranty

Man-made damage: including product damage caused by improper use
